 What do Grandmaster Flash, Eve of the Ruff Ryders and MC Lyte all have in common? Give up?? Well, they are all set to do radio shows. Eve recently announced that she'll be taking over the controls for Radio SonicNet.com where she'll will both program her own show but also let listeners know what sort of beats she likes to rhyme to.. There's is no doubt with her charisma and current popularity she will do well. Is it me or did Eve's debut album, 'First Lady' come and go without much fanfare? Hip Hop pioneer Grandmaster Flash has kept his promise to stay technologically efficient by hooking up with Sirius Satellite Radio. Flash of course, is no stranger to radio as he used to break beats for New York's famed radio station WBLS. He also is the main DJ and music director for the Chris Rock show. If that's not enough Flash is set to go into production for an upcoming movie that will be based upon his life story. Hip Hop female pioneer MC Lyte will be joining Flash for a stint at Sirius Satellite Radio. It's a venture she is definitely looking forward to as she has publicly stated that she's happy to be part of radio history. For those who don't know Satellite Radio is planning on building a digital satellite radio system and will be offering commercial free music.. On a side note, MC Lyte is finishing up a new album on Will's Smith new label 'Overbrook/Interscope' records. |
